Clear Health™
Last updated: May 20, 2026 - Applies to all Clear Health plans.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with this Policy and the Terms of Service.
We want Clear Health to feel like the kind of healthcare you actually want — including when something needs to change. This page lays out exactly how refunds work on every plan and product, what happens with medication that has already shipped, and how to reach us when your situation doesn’t fit neatly into any of the boxes below.
ISOCLEAR® 3-Phase Topical Treatment (Clear, Fade & Renew)
ISOCLEAR® Phase 1 (Clear), Phase 2 (Fade), and Phase 3 (Renew) are compounded prescription medications prepared individually for each patient by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Because these formulations are personalized to your specific treatment plan, they cannot be returned, restocked, or resold. Due to pharmacy regulations, prescription safety requirements, and the customized nature of compounded medications, prescription products are non-refundable and non-returnable once processed, dispensed, compounded, or shipped.
Evaluation Fees
The IsoClear treatment plan includes both medication and provider oversight as part of a single bundled treatment program. Required provider consultations and follow-up visits during the treatment period are included in the treatment plan fee and are not billed separately.
Refund Eligibility
Because provider services begin once your medical information is reviewed and treatment is initiated, payments made toward an IsoClear treatment plan are non-refundable after enrollment.
Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:
- A Clear Health provider determines during the initial medical review that you are not an appropriate candidate for treatment before a prescription is issued.
- You were charged in error.
- Clear Health is unable to provide the purchased service.
Medication Orders
Once a prescription has been issued or medication has been dispensed, shipped, or prepared for shipment by the pharmacy, no refunds will be provided for the treatment plan fee, medication costs, shipping fees, or related services.
Medical Discontinuation
If a Clear Health provider determines that treatment should be discontinued for medical reasons, future recurring charges will be stopped. Refunds will not be issued for services already rendered, provider reviews already completed, consultations already provided, medications already dispensed, or prior subscription charges.
Cancellation
You may cancel future renewals at any time. Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for payments already made, except as expressly stated above.
When a Remedy May Be Considered
While prescription products are non-refundable and non-returnable, Clear Health reviews the following situations on a case-by-case basis and may, at its sole discretion, offer a remedy such as a replacement, account credit, or refund:
- Damaged or Defective Product
Your product arrives visibly damaged, compromised in integrity, or otherwise unusable due to a manufacturing or fulfillment issue. - Product Never Received
Claims involving lost, stolen, delayed, or missing packages are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require carrier verification, investigation results, photographic evidence, address confirmation, or additional documentation. - Documented Adverse Skin Reaction
You experience a severe or unexpected reaction beyond the known common side effects of the formulation — such as blistering, significant swelling, or signs of a true allergic response. This must be reported to your Clear Health provider through your patient portal.
Please note: The following are common, expected side effects documented in your product insert and do not qualify as an adverse reaction for the purpose of this policy: dryness, flaking, mild redness, mild peeling, mild burning, or stinging at the application site. These reactions typically occur as your skin adjusts and are not grounds for a remedy.
Request a Review for Missing Medication
All claims must be submitted within 5 business days of the delivery date reflected in your UPS tracking confirmation. Claims submitted after this window will not be reviewed.
To request a review, contact Clear Health Support:
- Email: support@helloclearhealth.com
- Phone: (833) 685-4529
Please include your order information, a description of the issue, and any supporting documentation (e.g., photos of damaged packaging or UPS tracking details). Clear Health reserves the right to request additional information before determining eligibility and to determine the appropriate remedy at its sole discretion.
Not Seeing the Change(s) you Expected?
Skin responds differently to treatment for every individual, and results may take several weeks to months to become visible. Consistent use is important but outcomes are not guaranteed. If you feel your current phase isn’t the right fit, we encourage you to chat with your dermatologist via the Clear Health platform. Your doctor can reassess your skin, discuss your progress, and recommend adjustments to your treatment plan — including transitioning to a different phase or formulation better suited to your needs.
Monthly Plans
Telemedicine Evaluation Fees
Your initial evaluation fee can be fully refunded if your provider determines you are not eligible for treatment or if your case is not reviewed by a provider. If you are approved for treatment or receive a prescription, the fee is non-refundable because medical services have already been rendered.
Refunds cannot be processed without written notice to our support team.
Standard Monthly — $59 / month
You can cancel all subscriptions within 48 hours of being billed. Once charged the current month is nonrefundable. Your subscription won’t be charged again upon cancellation request, and you keep access through the end of the cycle.
Microdose Monthly — $109 / month
Microdose Monthly is split between clinical care ($59) and medication ($50). The two pieces are refunded differently:
- If you cancel within 48 hours of being billed and no medication has shipped, we refund $50 — the medication portion. The $59 clinical portion is not refundable.
- If medication has already shipped within that 48-hour window, no refund is issued. (See “Why We Can’t Accept Medication Returns” below.)
- After 48 hours, the full $109 is nonrefundable, regardless of medication status. Your subscription won’t renew, and your access continues through the end of the cycle.
Prepaid Plans
Nonrefundable: Standard 6-Month ($275) and Microdose 3-Month ($295)
These two plans are paid up front and are nonrefundable. We offer them at a meaningful discount in exchange for a commitment to the full course of care — which is also what gives the treatment its best chance of actually working for you.
In certain situations, Clear Health may, in its sole discretion, allow temporary subscription pauses or alternative arrangements.
Refundable: Microdose 6-Month ($559) and Microdose 12-Month ($1,079)
These two plans can be cancelled at any time with a pro-rated refund. We calculate it like this:
- Microdose 6-Month: $99.83 per consultation used, less a $75 cancellation fee.
- Microdose 12-Month: $89.92 per consultation used, less a $75 cancellation fee.
Formula: Plan price − (consultations used × per-consultation rate) − $75 = your refund.
If your provider determines telemedicine care isn’t right for you, the $75 fee is waived (see Medical-Reason Refunds below).
Worked example: You’re on the Microdose 12-Month plan ($1,079) and cancel after 4 consultations. Your refund is $1,079 − (4 × $89.92) − $75 = $644.32.
Medical-Reason Refunds
If a Clear Health provider determines that telemedicine care isn’t clinically appropriate for you — for example, your condition needs in-person evaluation, or a different treatment approach is warranted — we’ll refund the unused portion of your plan and waive the $75 cancellation fee.
How it works:
- Your refund is pro-rated based on the number of consultations you’ve used.
- The $75 cancellation fee is waived.
- Medication that has already shipped is still not refundable (see the next section).
- This applies to every plan, including those labeled “nonrefundable.”
Examples:
- Standard 6-Month ($275), 2 consultations used → $275 − (2 × $45.83) − $0 = $183.34.
- Microdose 3-Month ($295), 1 consultation used → $295 − (1 × $98.33) − $0 = $196.67.
Why We Can’t Accept Medication Returns
We can’t accept returns of medication that has been shipped to you. This isn’t a policy preference — federal and state pharmacy law restricts the return and reuse of dispensed prescription medications, including Isotretinoin (Accutane) and compounded topical formulations. Once medication has left our partner pharmacy, it can’t go back into circulation, and we can’t refund it.
What this means in practice:
- Any medication already dispensed and shipped is yours to keep.
- We do not refund the medication portion of any charge after it has shipped.
- If you’ve stopped treatment, please dispose of any unused medication safely. Many pharmacies accept unused prescriptions for safe disposal, or you can use a DEA take-back location.
This applies whether you’re cancelling for a personal reason or under a medical-reason refund.
What This Policy Doesn’t Cover
- Lab fees — these are billed directly by the lab and aren’t part of your Clear Health plan.
- Medication purchased through a local pharmacy on a Standard plan — that transaction is between you and your pharmacy.
How to Request a Refund or Cancel
- Sign in to your Clear Health account and go to the Subscriptions page.
- Use Cancel* — your account routes the request to our team.
- If you feel you are eligible for a refund, please email us at support@helloclearhealth.com.
Refunds cannot be processed without written notice to our support team.
Please include the plan or product you’re on, the date of your most recent charge, and what’s prompting the request. If you’re asking for a medical-reason refund, your provider will confirm in your chart before we process anything.
We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
*Applicable to eligible plans.
